Learning Support Mechanism
百思得设有“学业支持机制”,旨在确保每位学生在系统学习和持续努力的基础上获得稳步进步。
The School has established a Learning Support Mechanism to ensure that students make steady progress through structured learning and consistent effort.
1. 清晰可见的学习路径
Clear and Visible Learning Pathway
• 明确的阶段目标:听说、认字、阅读、写作。
• 可追踪的进步路线图,让孩子知道“我在往哪里走”。
• 定期向家长反馈学习进展。
• Clear goals for each stage: listening and speaking, characters, reading, writing.
• A trackable pathway that shows students where they are heading.
• Regular updates to parents on learning progress.
2. 分层与分轨教学
Differentiated & Tracked Instruction
• 根据学生的读写能力进行分层学习。
• 口语课双轨制: – 普通话背景组 – 非普通话背景组
• 同一任务设置多层要求,孩子不跟丢、不吃不饱。
• Students are grouped according to literacy development.
• Two speaking tracks: Mandarin Background Non-Mandarin Background
• Tasks are tiered so every child succeeds at the right level.

In-Class Responsive Support
• 正向性反馈,绝不使用羞辱式批评。
• 支架式教学:示范、句型框架、小步骤拆解。
• 以普通话为主要教学语言,必要时辅以英语支持。
• 小班教学(6–12人),每个孩子都被看见。

• Direction-focused positive feedback rather than criticism.
• Scaffolding through modelling, sentence frames and micro-steps.
• Mandarin as the main instructional language with English support when needed.

Subject-based Chinese integrates language learning with science, arts, performance and project-based activities, enabling students to use Chinese for meaningful academic purposes.
真实语言场景(Authentic Language Contexts)孩子的中文在有情境的互动中被激活:

在这些场景中,孩子需要:

语言在真实交流中自然发生。
Students communicate in authentic contexts such as performances, storytelling, Chinese Sport meeting, science fairs and Celebration of Chinese and Western festivals—listening, interpreting, expressing and collaborating. Chinese emerges naturally through real interaction.
